Treasurer

From the Desk of the Treasurer

Season’s greetings,

May the Holiday Season bring only happiness and joy to you and your loved ones. Let me start by thanking all for the trust and support allowing me to serve this far as Seneca Nation Treasurer. As the year winds down, we often reflect on the challenges, successes and accomplishments met throughout the year. I’d like to congratulate all within the Nation for a successful 2019.

I can briefly, share some of the highlights we’ve experienced. Budgets and forecasts were held and surpassed with cuts and investments by this administration. We have had a beneficial year continuing to provide all services and programs while spending far less! With audited financial statements more information will be passed along publicly.

My vision for the year was to strengthen our economies by creating healthy sustainable and culturally vibrant communities, while continuing to focus on infrastructure, capital investing through business development and creating a pathway to do so. With the 5 year spending plan Council and executives have created, I believe everything is viable moving forward. We hope you see our continued service as a success.

I’d like to express to our community members staff and their families, thankful thoughts, happy hearts and well wishes. On behalf of myself and the Treasurer’s staff, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.

As always, feel free to stop by and ask any and all questions.

Nya:wëh,
Matt
