Pursuant to Council Resolution and Right of Way Agreement between the Seneca Nation and National Fuel Gas (NFG) please be advised that NFG will be replacing 2,920’ of 2” steel pipeline along the west side of Van Vleck Rd within the Cattaraugus Territory. The steel pipeline would be replaced with approximately 2,700’ of 2” High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) plastic pipe.
The plan is to replace this pipeline adjacent to the highway bounds of Van Vleck Rd, rather than keeping it in the same location as it presently resides, where it runs through the woods and serves houses from the back. This is atypical and can be dangerous as well as inefficient. Our goal is to run all pipeline along the road to ensure asset organization, safety and efficiencies.
This work will also include the installation of new services to 12089, 12045, 12041, 12037, 12107 and 12030 Van Vleck Rd.
