The Smithsonian’s new National Native American Veterans Memorial

Navy Veteran Annette Marie Repicci (right)—a member of the Seneca Nation—from Buffalo, New York served her country for 24 years, starting in 1988, working as Aircraft Division Chief, Flight Deck Coordinator, Quality Assurance Chief, and Senior Command Chief.

Native Americans and Alaska Natives serve in the Armed Forces at five times the national average. The Smithsonian’s new National Native American Veterans Memorial honors them. #NNAVM
