Lady Panthers Wear Orange in Support of the Indigenous Children discovered at Kamloops

During the evening of Thursday, June 10th, the Gowanda Varsity Lady Panthers softball team honored the 215 children that were discovered buried at the site of the former Kamloops Indian Residential School in British Columbia, Canada. The Ladies wore orange ribbons and donned an orange symbol with the number 215 on their helmets. Coach Tyler Thompson spoke on the honoring and at the conclusion a moment of silence was held by the crowd.
