About Peloton Pledge:

ACTION CREATES CHANGE. In June 2020, we created the Peloton Pledge: a concrete action plan to combat systemic inequities. This plan addresses our internal culture and our principles, as well as a strategy for amplifying change both in our company and our community. It is an ambitious commitment that lays out our anti-racist vision with honesty, transparency and accountability.

“TOGETHER WE GO FAR” MEANS ALL OF US CAN’T WIN IF SOME OF US ARE BEING HELD BACK.

In this pivotal time in history, I believe we have an enormous responsibility to do our part to combat systemic racism, and I am committed to ensuring that we use our resources, platform and influence to change our society for the better—into a place where everyone can and will thrive.

~ JOHN FOLEY, PELOTON CO-FOUNDER AND CEO.

Words from Ms. Jones:

“My first commercial has dropped online! Visibility of self image is so important for the future success of our young people. Culture and representation was a big discussion of the day with the other actors, and we all connected on how important that is for our sons as daughters to see.

This experience of filming in my first commercial in NYC was a big goal of mine that I never gave up on. Once I began believing in my talent and knowledge to the fullest and stopped being scared of my potential success, doors flew right open…. I’ve walked through them and am not looking back.

Here’s to building the platform bigger for all of our beautiful indigenous children to stand on and see the bright horizon of their coming days. I believe in you and will keep working hard so your path is a bit wider, easier and safer to travel.

I am the granddaughter of residential school survivors. To the United States government: I am proof that your assimilation policies and plan to eradicate my lineage has failed.

To my grandparents, this one is for you…we are now seen and heard by the world. Your lives mattered. We are your wildest dreams come true. O’tgwanö:nyö’ for being so strong and brave so I could be here today.”
