CLERK’S OFFICE UPDATE:
MASKS ARE REQUIRED UPON ENTRY TO ALL SENECA NATION BUILDINGS
The Clerk’s Office on the Cattaraugus Territory has re-opened our doors with safety protocols in place. Masks are required at all times and you must social distance while in the Building. The Clerk’s Office on the Allegany Territory will be opening soon, we will remain open with a walk-up window for limited services. Our hours are Monday through Friday; 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. We encourage members to bring their own pen if needed, as a safety precaution.
Please have your SNI Enrollment # ready when you are visiting or calling the Clerk’s Office.
CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS ACCEPTED
We are happy to announce the Allegany & Cattaraugus Clerk’s Office are now accepting Credit/Debit Card as a form of payment for Id’s, utility bills, business & fishing licenses, etc.
ANNUITY CLOTH
Annuity Cloth will be available for pick up during regular business hours in both Allegany & Cattaraugus Clerk’s Offices.

• BURIAL FUND
A Burial fund has been designated to pay for funeral expenses up to $7000 for enrolled members. For additional details, please contact the Clerk’s Office during regular business hours.
• DIRECT DEPOSIT OF ANNUITY AND/OR ELDERS PAYMENTS
If you would like to sign up for Direct Deposit of your Annuity and/or Elders Check, you will have to complete the form. The form is available on the web at www.sni.org under Documents/Clerk’s Office / Direct Deposit forms or at the Clerk’s Office.
• All direct deposit forms MUST have attached a voided check or deposit slip (start-up checks will NOT be accepted).
• Members must be at least 18 years old to sign up for Direct Deposit
• Minors are NOT eligible for Direct Deposit
If you receive direct deposit, it is your responsibility to keep your address updated with the Clerk’s Office.
• RELEASE OF MINORS TRUST FUND
In order to begin receiving Minor Trust Fund disbursements. A member must be at least 18 years old and submit the following documentation:
• Application for Release of Minors Trust
• High School Diploma / GED
• Financial Literacy Certificate (http://seneca.cm3solutions.com)

NOTICE – CONTINUANCE OF WAIVER FOR IN-PERSON ENROLLMENT APPEARANCE
MOTION: by Arlene Bova, seconded by Angela Kennedy, that the Seneca Nation Council approves the following resolution:
WHEREAS, the Seneca Nation is responsible for the health, safety and well-being of our members and is taking precautions to reduce the potential impact of COVID-19 on our community; and
WHEREAS, due to safety concerns, the Nation Council waived the in-person enrollment appearance requirement per the enrollment ordinance as amended on March 12, 2016 (CN: R-03-12-16-06), effective March 14, 2020; and
WHEREAS, on July 10, 2021 Council reinstated the in-person enrollment appearance requirement (CN: R-07-10-21-06); and
WHEREAS, recent increases in the rate of infection of COVID-19 both within and outside of the Seneca Nation Territory have made it unsafe to require in-person enrollment appearances at this time; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Seneca Nation Council hereby rescinds the July 10, 2021 resolution (CN: R-07-10-21-06) and continues to waive the in-person enrollment appearance requirement until reinstated by Council Resolution.
