Council Expresses Gratitude to our Foster Families

Photos by Seneca Media

In recognition of Foster Parent Appreciation Month in May, the Seneca Nation Council donated gift cards to thank foster families in our community. These families selflessly open their homes and lives to children that would not otherwise have the opportunity for support and guidance.

Child and Family Services is always seeking Native American Foster Families. By becoming a foster parent, you will restore hope for Native American children, keep siblings together, keep our youth close to their culture, and allow time for families and children to heal. If you’re interested in becoming a foster parent or family through Child and Family Services, contact Home Finder/Educator MacKenzie Swiech at (716) 945-5894 ext 3752.

Child and Family Services would like to thank foster families, kinship families, and the community for continuing to support their efforts. Lastly, a HUGE thank you to Council for supporting Child and Family Services and the families who are a source of strength for our children.
