What an awesome night we had for our first ever Lacrosse Night at the Ballpark with the Buffalo Bandits, presented by Roswell Park Cancer Institute.

A crowd of 13,741 had Sahlen Field rockin’ as Banditland became Banditballpark! The Bisons defeated the Rochester Red Wings, 3-0, as the team wore specially-designed Lacrosse Caps and Jerseys! The best part, those Game-Worn & Autographed Jerseys were auctioned and raffled off with a portion of the net proceeds to benefit Roswell Park’s Pediatric Cancer Center in honor of Tucker Williams.

The pre-game festivities included an autograph Session with Bandits players Ethan O’Connor, Tehoka Nanticoke, Dalton Sulver & Frank Brown, an appearance by Bandits mascot, Rax, special guests, The Bandettes, and so much more!

Dr. Rodney Haring, Director of the Center for Indigenous Cancer Research at Roswell Park threw the ceremonial first pitch. Here is what he said about the moment “Hit the strike zone with an overhand right. Appreciate the recent opportunity to throw “first pitch”/represent Roswell Park and the Center for Indigenous Cancer Research. Lacrosse night at Buffalo Bisons minor leagues.”

There was some amazing moments that we’ll forever have in our memory.
