We Are Healers is now accepting applications for the 2023 Fellowship cohort. Applications will close on November 15, 2022. They are offering up to 10 Fellowship opportunities for Native students on their path toward a health profession.
Program activities include providing summer enrichment program fee assistance, along with stipends for standardized examination test preparatory and exam fees. We are also providing a stipend for each fellow to complete one project of their choosing throughout their term.
Goals & Objectives of Fellowship Program:
- Provide real-time inspiration and demystify the health professional learning process.
- Provide funding to accomplish an individually defined project that will re-imagine community health.
- Provide mentorship, preparatory course/material assistance, summer enrichment program assistance as well as examination fee assistance (if applicable).
- Networking and community building with other American Indian and Alaskan Native health professionals and students.
