If you need to cancel, please call. We will be learning about different types of gardening from the Master Gardeners of Cornell Cooperative extension who will be bringing a tower so we can grow indoors too! Lunch will be provided. Is anyone interested in having a gardening workshop for children? We can grow loofas from seed to plant.

Our book club is reading a novel by Miriam Toews, “Women Talking”. Based on real events, this is the story of eight women in a remote Mennonite colony located in Bolivia. They are all illiterate, unable to speak the language of the country they live in, and without any knowledge of the world outside their community. Toews’s novel uses wry, politically engaged humor to relate this tale of women claiming their own power to decide. If you want to join our book club call 716-945-3157 (ext.) 3405 or come to our next meeting.

Coffee hour is every Thursday from 10 am – 11 am. Heather Jones and Krysten Ground join us once a month to answer questions about TERC. Please come to ask questions on the 9th of March.
We have movie days through-out the months of February – May, follow us on Facebook or stop in to check out our calendar. In April, we have lots to do! A flower class with Sierra Parker, small animals with Mike Morton, Easter Egg Hunt, cookie decorating, Easter coloring pages, and Chelsy Torgalski will join us for coffee hour from The Alzheimer’s Association.

A reminder of our new hours, we are open Tuesday and Wednesday from 8am till 7pm and Saturday from 9am – 1pm. On the remaining days, Monday, Thursday, & Friday, we are open 8am till 5pm. To reach library staff when calling dial 716-945-3157 extension 3402 when prompted.

Come in to renew your library card or apply for one. Find that novel you’ve wanted to read, or the latest DVD on your list. You can also come in to read the paper with a cup of coffee.
We are so much more than a library. See you soon!
