Junior Lucus Brown was selected by league coaches as player of the year. Lucus averaged 21 points, 7 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 assists per game during the entire season, and led the league in scoring at 25.6 points per game during league play. He also finished top-5 in the league in rebounds as well.
Junior Jaxson Ross was named an honorable mention all-star this year by league coaches. Jaxson averaged 7.4 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists per game in a prominent role for the team this year.
Finally, head coach Adam Bennett was selected as Coach of the Year for the second straight season. Bennett has an overall record of 95-55 at Salamanca, and led the Warriors to a 20-3 record this season and an undefeated (10-0) league championship. It was the school’s first division title since 2013-14. Salamanca made its second straight sectional championship appearance as well.
