Promoted to Sergeant for the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission

Submitted by Jessica Ludwick

We would like to congratulate Officer Clayton Ludwick who was recently promoted from Master Officer to Sergeant for the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission. Sergeant Ludwick will oversee Pender and New Hanover County, both located on the southern coast of North Carolina. This area is one of the busiest patrol areas in the State with a variety of boating, hunting, and fishing activities.

Sergeant Ludwick started his career in 2004 as an SNI Conservation Officer where he worked for over 8 years. In 2012 he attended Wildlife Basic Law Enforcement Training and was first stationed in (Dare County) Outer Banks, North Carolina. Clayton received his Associates degree from Jamestown Community College in Criminal Justice and recently completed a certificate program from Cornell University in Public Sector Leadership.

Throughout Clayton’s career he has received numerous certifications including his Advanced Law Enforcement Certificate, Specialized Driving/Boat Instructor and Nationally Certified Field Sobriety Test Instructor. He also teaches several different blocks of instruction at the Wildlife Officer Training Academy as well as other agencies throughout the state.

Clayton is actively involved in his community and routinely volunteers for several charity events. He looks forward to leading his fellow Officers into the future and continue to make an impact to those around him.

Clayton Ludwick is an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation (Beaver Clan) and is the son of Dale (Joan) and Sandy Ludwick and the grandson of the late Nancy Nye. He is the son in law of Brian (late Cindy) Mohr.

Sign-up sheets for shows will be available 1 MONTH prior to the event. Numbers are turned into the Casino 1 week prior, if you have a change in plans please cancel before then. Please arrive 2 hours prior to show for buffet and no later than 30 minutes prior. Make sure you’re planning to attend when you sign-up as there has been an increase of last-minute cancellations, resulting in a waste of Elder entertainment funds. Nya:wëh!
