She is active in student government and is currently the Vice President of her senior class. Angela take a leadership class as well as being part of the Lake Shore Business Academy since 10th grade in which you have to apply and be accepted. This allowed her to intern at a local dentist office in North Collins which is the field of study Angela wishes to pursue. Due to the pandemic she was unable to continue her internship there over the summer and took an internship at Chiavetta’s Catering learning all aspects of their business. She is still currently employed there.

Besides her studies, Angela was the captain of the Varsity Soccer Team and ran track and field throughout high school. She was looking forward to traveling to the Close-Up Conference as a student representative in Washington, DC but due to the pandemic, it was canceled.
Angela has been accepted early-decision to Syracuse University under the Haudenosaunee Promise Scholarship majoring in biology on a pre-dental track in hopes of becoming a dentist. Once graduating and becoming a certified licensed dentist, she would like to specialize in children’s dentistry. Currently Native Americans make up only 0.2% of the national dental workforce with native female dentists being lower than that percentage.

Angela hopes one day to bring her skill set back to territory and work within our Nation. Her family wishes her well in all her pursuits and will always be here for support.
