In honor of Women’s History Month, the Seneca Nation Executives would like to recognize Seneca women whom have served the public. Since Passage of Constitutional Amendment October 7, 1966
(updated 03/16/21- Clerk’s Office)
March is “National Women’s History Month” and we have much reason to celebrate. Within the Seneca Nation our society traditionally is matrilineal. In part, this is because our Seneca women are powerful, driven, and dedicated to the betterment of us all. They give life, nurture life, and make decisions based on impacts to future generations. The Seneca Nation and its communities thrive as a result. ~ Councillor Presley Redeye
