On June 6th, 2021, around 300 participants gathered to celebrate the late Cynthia “Cindy” Mohr’s birthday with a 5K walk/run. Family, former students, and community members started the race at the newly renovated Veteran’s Memorial Park in Salamanca, NY. A chicken BBQ fundraiser followed with proceeds being used to establish a scholarship in Cindy’s name.
The Class of 2023 sponsored the event and produced a short video on the impact made by the late teacher who dedicated her career to the Salamanca School District and students.
