It is hard to believe that summer is over, and kids are getting ready to go back to school!! After a year of isolation due to the pandemic so many events have been packed into a few months – family picnics, graduations, fairs, concerts, etc. It has been good to see family and friends again. Even though we have relaxed social distancing and masking we should continue to be cautious until the viruses are under control.

The Seneca Hymn Singers meet on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at 6:30 in the fellowship hall. If you enjoy singing in Seneca or if you want to learn to sing in Seneca, you are welcome to join the meetings.
Bible study meets every Wednesday at 6:30. We have been studying Revelations which has been very interesting. We are learning about the imagery in the book and its relevance to our lives. Everyone is invited to join us as we continue reading the book.

A Caregivers gathering will be held on Monday, August 30, at 6:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. We will have a speaker who will explain services that are available for caregivers. Anyone who is a caregiver, has been a caregiver or may become a caregiver is invited to attend the gathering to share their story and to support others who are caregivers. The first rule of being a caregiver is that you must take care of yourself as well as the person you are serving.

On September 5, at 10 a.m. we will enjoy our first joint Sunday service with our sister church in Versailles. In October the joint service will be held at Four Corners. Everyone is invited to join us.

On Sunday mornings you are invited to meet with Pastor Holly or just to visit at 8:30 a.m. Worship service begins at 9 a.m. We look forward to seeing you and your family. Please continue to pray for healing in our communities.

Peace.
