Earlier this month, Seneca Nation Gakwi:yo:h Farms hosted the Native Farm Bill Coalition at a roundtable meeting to discuss policy with tribal producers, consumers, and elected leadership. The Native Farm Bill Coalition is an intertribal, nationwide initiative whose goal is to amplify and implement Native voices in federal farm bill negotiations. The work of the Native Farm Bill Coalition and the Intertribal Agriculture Council seeks to uplift the efforts of Native agriculturists to cement an impact on land-based agriculture and be a guide toward food sovereignty.
