Morning for the Mamas at SALC

On Friday, May 6th, as students arrived they received three “dollars” to treat their moms to a royal Mother’s Day!

They first visited the SALC Flower Shop where the children “purchased” a flower of their choice for their mom! Next stop, The “We Love You Mom! Photo Booth” which cost the children one “dollar”! Last on the agenda, taking mom to breakfast at SALC “Starbucks” where they cashed in their last “dollar” to fill mom’s tummy the way she fills our hearts with a mouthwatering breakfast option buffet of muffins, donuts, danishes, juice and water!

The children really seemed to love this experience and the empowerment of using their own “money” to spoil their moms!

Happy Mother’s Day to our absolutely wonderful SALC moms and all of the moms out there!
