NOTICE: TO APPROVE RESUMPTION OF IN-PERSON REQUIREMENT FOR ENROLLMENT AND REGISTRATION
MOTION: by Angela Kennedy, seconded by Joshua Jimerson, that the Seneca Nation Council approves the following resolution:
WHEREAS, the Seneca Nation Council has established a general registration requirement for enrolled Nation members to qualify for annuity distribution (CN: R-02-11-17-06); and
WHEREAS, the Seneca Nation Council has also observed a general enrollment appearance requirement for individuals to initially enroll with the Seneca Nation as a member; and
WHEREAS, the Seneca Nation’s Council has since acted on several occasions to waive the in-person enrollment and registration appearance requirements due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic; and
WHEREAS, the Nation’s Council wishes to resume the In-Person appearance requirement for enrollment and registration beginning in January 2023; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Seneca Nation Council hereby waives the In-Person Enrollment Appearance and In-Person Registration Requirement for the remainder of 2022 calendar year; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all members who are up to date with their registration requirement will be eligible to mail-in their completed registration for the 2022 calendar year; and
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, the In-Person Enrollment Appearance and the In-Person Registration Requirements will be reinstated beginning January 1, 2023.

SN IDENTIFICATION CARDS
In order to update your photo on your Seneca Nation Identification Card, you must appear in person. All cards issued must have a current photo upon issuance.
$7.00 per card
$3.00 per card for Elders (60 yrs. Of age or older)

Completed forms can be mailed along with a copy of your photo identification as proof of identify if you are unable to obtain a notary to: Seneca Nation of Indians, 90 Ohi:yo’ Way, Salamanca NY 14779. All forms are available online at www.sni.org under Clerk’s Office documents.
Please remember to keep your address current with the Clerk’s Office. This includes changes with custody of minor children or legal guardians (Court orders).
• BURIAL FUND
A Burial fund has been designated to pay for funeral expenses up to $7000 for enrolled members. For additional details, please contact the Clerk’s Office during regular business hours.
• DIRECT DEPOSIT OF ANNUITY AND/OR ELDERS PAYMENTS
If you would like to sign up for Direct Deposit of your Annuity and/or Elders Check, you will have to complete the form. The form is available on the web at www.sni.org under Documents/Clerk’s Office / Direct Deposit forms or at the Clerk’s Office.
• All direct deposit forms MUST have attached a voided check or deposit slip (start-up checks will NOT be accepted).
• Members must be at least 18 years old to sign up for Direct Deposit
• Minors are NOT eligible for Direct Deposit
If you receive direct deposit, it is your responsibility to keep your address updated with the Clerk’s Office.
• RELEASE OF MINORS TRUST FUND
In order to begin receiving Minor Trust Fund disbursements. A member must be at least 18 years old and submit the following documentation:
