Zed Williams Hosts Mini Lacrosse Clinic at Cattaraugus Community Center

After a successful lacrosse season winning the National Lacrosse League Championship with the Colorado Mammoths, Zed Williams (Wolf Clan) hosted a Youth Mini Lacrosse Camp at the Cattaraugus Community Center on August 17th.

The youth participants received an emotional speech from Zed about the importance of the medicine game. He stressed the importance of staying in love with the game and the emotion that comes with it. He credits this mindset to his play style and success in becoming a better player and teammate.

The kids, mesmerized by Williams, ran through a few drills before having an opportunity to ask Zed questions about his personal life and career. This was followed by a meet and greet along with pictures, autographs and dinner. Nya:wëh to the President’s Office and Council Office for donating t-shirts and a chicken dinner for our youth.

Zed Williams’ message to the youth was that never falling out of love with the game will give them opportunities on and off the field to continue to climb the hill, constantly adjusting and adapting.

Ja:goh to Brad and Grant for helping organize the clinic and a special “Nya:wëh” to Zed Williams for giving back to his community!
