The Seneca Hymn singers have resumed their Tuesday gatherings. At 7:00 people gather in the fellowship hall and rehearse and learn Seneca hymns. After singing they enjoy refreshments together. The singers are looking for new members to keep the tradition going. If you do not speak Seneca, don’t worry, you will learn the hymns as you rehearse. Stop in and visit them and hopefully join them.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 says “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven”. Fall is here and we can enjoy the many activities that it brings to us. Picking apples, carving pumpkins, raking leaves, putting away summer furniture and going to football games (GO BILLS!), are fall activities. This is also a time when we begin to plan for the upcoming holidays – Thanksgiving and Christmas. This is also a good time to nourish our spiritual health as we prepare for winter.

Pray for healing for those in our community who are struggling with drug and alcohol addiction, especially our young people. Pray for those who are grieving and for those who are struggling with illness. Pray for those who are recovering from trauma. Pray for the souls of the children who died while in the boarding schools. Pray for the boarding school survivors. Pray for recovery of all those in our community who need healing. Thessalonians 5:11 tells us: “Therefore encourage on another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”

Come and join us at Four Corners for word and song on Sunday mornings at 9 a.m. followed by refreshments in our fellowship hall. Our lay leaders will provide you with word and music that will carry you through the week. We look forward to seeing you on Sunday. Peace be with you.
