Good oral health habits need to be formed from an early age to keep children from developing tooth decay. On top of this, if we can encourage children to build healthy habits from an early age they will carry these with them throughout their lifetime and keep their chances of developing decay low.
On Friday, September 30th, SALC hosted free dental exams for all students ages 1 & up. We welcomed the Seneca Nation Dental Unit and UB dental who performed the exams and spent the day working with the children on healthy eating habits and brushing techniques and routines.
We want to thank both of those entities, and Mr. Will Wolfe especially, for their time and knowledge! Our building, children, and families appreciate you!
