Seneca Nation Library – Allegany Branch

Submitted by Glenda Grey

The Library is getting ready for the holiday season. I can’t wait to see what our designer (Denise) creates for the upcoming holidays. Sierra Parker was here and everyone created beautiful flowers from corn husk. We plan to invite Sierra back in the spring for another class. On November 15th, Leeora White will be here from 6pm – 7pm for storytelling. Come out and listen, she is so talented.

Book club is meeting November 22nd at 5pm and we are reading Verity by Colleen Hoover. This is an exclusive book with a new chapter. If you want to join our book club call 716-945-3157.
Our craft class is coming up on December 3rd for kiddos ages 5-12 with their parent or caregiver. Mark your calendar for this, we are going to make some fun things for gift giving.

Also, in December Cliff Redeye will be here with another leather class. This class fills up quick, so don’t delay in signing up. Leeora White will also be here with him weaving her story into the craft.

Coffee hour is every Thursday from 10 am – 11 am and we have our Trivia game, we’re learning how to play right now.

A reminder of our new hours, we are open Tuesday and Wednesday 8am – 7pm and Saturday 9am – 1pm. On the remaining days, Monday, Thursday, & Friday, we are open 8am – 5pm.
Come in and renew your library card or apply for one. Find that novel you’ve wanted to read, or the latest DVD on your list. You can also come in and read the paper with a cup of coffee.

We are so much more than a library. See you soon!
