Cancer Support Group Ideas Needed!

Tell Us What You Think

The Indigenous and Rural Patient Navigation Program (IRPNP) at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center understands the importance of sharing and caring when faced with major health experiences. With this in mind, IRPNP is seeking feedback on the interest of developing cancer support groups that best meet the community needs.

These free groups, held on territory or virtually, will be designed to meet the educational and emotional needs of anyone who are at any point in their cancer experience. From the newly diagnosed to those in in treatment, post-treatment or in remission, this will be a safe place to explore important issues that matter when coping with any type of cancer. The groups will explore a variety of topics including work, relationships, family, and regaining control over your life.

Please spread the word to family, friends, and neighbors of this support group initiative. If you are interested, have any questions or feedback, please let us know by contacting Patient Navigator’s Marissa Haring or David Silverheels, via text, voice, or email. We look forward to hearing from you!
