Born October 31st, 1932, the daughter of William & Florence (HUFF) Parker into the Beaver Clan.

While raising her children and working at Moog industries, Gowanda Psychiatric center and eventually opening Crossroads Gas Station, Maxine was the first Woman Peacemaker Judge for the Cattaraugus territory in 1972 and in 1974 the first woman Councillor for the Cattaraugus territory effectively changing the traditional voting rights of Seneca women in office. She is survived by four children Kim (Amy Vance), Kip Lewis, Kelly Lewis & Harland Jimerson. Maxine is also survived by several Grandchildren, Great & Great Great Grandchildren along with numerous Nieces and nephews.
