Robert E. Scanlan, 80, of Waddell, Arizona, died Thursday, October 20, 2022 at his home with his family by his side. Born May 2, 1942, he was the son of the late Robert and Dorothy Scanlan. For 36 years he shared his life with his wife Shirley, the love of his life, who survives. Surviving also are two stepchildren, Scott and Jody Allen, daughter in-law Carol Allen, his niece Sandy Ludwick, his son Kenny Scanlan, and great nieces and nephews.
He was an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation of Indians and of the Beaver clan. Robert was an avid fisherman and loved boating. He also loved traveling in his RV and going on camping trips. He was predeceased by his sister, Nancy Nye and brother Patrick Scanlan.
