Salamanca Warrior Athletics
The Boys and Girls indoor track and field team competed earlier this month at Houghton University. Athletes have been working on improving their technique at the Allegany Community Center (ACC), which has proven a huge asset to our team. We are so thrilled where our kids are at this point in the season. All of them are hungry and realizing what they are capable of. So nice to see the way they train with such purpose and they do not shy away from hard work. Its a great group of kids, said coaches Michelle Hill (Boys) and Laurie Lafferty-John (Girls).
The girls seized the day with 3 school records, 2 individual qualifiers for the section 6 championship and 11 personal bests performances out of 14 entries.
