Valentine’s Day, also called Saint Valentine’s Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine, is celebrated annually on February 14th. It originated as a Christian feast day honoring one or two early Christian martyrs named Saint Valentine and, through later folk traditions, has become a significant cultural, religious, and commercial celebration of romance and love. According to I Corinthians, 13:13 “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” The Bible also tells us to love one another as I have loved you. Happy Valentine’s Day!!

At Four Corners we will be hosting Shrove Tuesday (also known as Fat Tuesday), on February 21, from 6-7 p.m. This event signals the beginning of Lent in preparation for Easter. Everyone is invited to join us for pastries and fellowship!! The next day, Wednesday, February 22, is Ash Wednesday when we will be having a combined service at the Versailles UMC at 7 p.m. Everyone is invited to join us for these special services.

Reminder: The Seneca Hymn Singers are on their winter break and will begin regular rehearsals in March. If you are interested in joining them or require their service, please contact Janet “Beeda” Parker at 716-532-2478.

Continue praying for healing in our communities. Everyone is invited to join us for worship at 9 a.m. for inspiring words and songs. Following our service, we have coffee time and enjoy fellowship.
