Congratulations to Morgan McClune
By Patti Brisley, Youth Svc. Coordinator
Congratulations to Morgan McClune, 19 y.o. who was TERC’s first ‘under 21 y.o.’ to obtain his CDL-A license! Since May 14, 2022, NYS DMV changed the age requirement to allow a driver who is under 21 y.o. to qualify for a CDL-A! Prior to that, under 21 y.o. were only eligible for CDL-B licenses.
Not only that, Morgan already possessed his Equipment Operator certificate from Catt/Alleg. BOCES when he graduated from high school in June 2022! And to top it off, Morgan has recently been accepted into the Laborer’s #621 union!
We are all very proud of Morgan’s dedication to achieving his goals while a participant in TERC!
If you are interested in getting your CDL, Equipment Operator cert, or any other certificate to assist you in your career goals, please go to your local TERC office:

TERC’s Ana Yulaly Stahlman Attends Kinley Corporation’s Open House
Credit: Southern Tier West Regional Planning and Development Board
Last Thursday, Fileve Tlaloc from STW and Ana Yulaly Stahlman from Seneca Nation of Indians TERC program attended Kinley Corporation’s Open House and ribbon cutting for their takeover of the Dresser Rand facility in Wellsville. It was inspiring to hear Jimmy Kinley (owner’s son and successor) speak about the company’s legacy, their commitment to the region, and their plans to help with workforce development. There was a great show of support from local legislators, former Dresser-Rand & present Kinley Corp employees, and community members. Great, local food was served and connections were made. It was also cool to see the inner working of the factory along with a demo of their 3D scanners that assist their employees strive for excellence. They are hiring!
