Eldest Seneca Nation Member William C. Hoag (Uncle Bill)

Nya:wëh to the Clerk’s Office for setting up a table in the lobby of the SAAB that allowed the community to sign and send Birthday wishes on “annuity cloth banner”. Nephew Joe Shelton, Great-Great Niece Sophia and Arlene Bova delivered the special birthday banner to Uncle Bill at his home in Issaquah, Washington. We were joined by his son Tom, Daughter in-law Mary and Grandson Tommy for three days of celebrating. The 1st day we celebrated with cake and ice cream. The 2nd day we had corn soup, ghost bread and mashed beans. On the 3rd day, we treated Uncle Bill to a trip to his favorite restaurant for Chinese! William is the eldest Seneca Nation Member and turned 102 on March 30, 2023. Happy Belated 102nd Birthday, Uncle Bill!
