April is National Child Abuse Awareness Month. Last Wednesday, the Seneca Arts & Learning Center on the Allegany Territory held a Child Abuse Awareness walk. This event is an opportunity to show support, educate and learn that we can all help children and families end child abuse and neglect.
Our children are sacred and will be the leaders of the next seven generations. We all have the responsibility to protect children and ensure they grow in a safe, nurturing environment. It shouldn’t hurt to be a child. Every Child Matters.
Nya:wëh to all the community members, families and SNI departments for their support at this event! Ja:göh!
