May 5th is recognized as National Murdered Missing Indigenous Women (and Relatives) Day of Awareness. Also known as Red Dress Day, this effort started as a grassroots movement to call attention to the disproportionate rates of violence against Indigenous women and relatives across the U.S. and Canada. The events hosted by Seneca Nation Crime Victim Services are an opportunity to support families who have lost a loved one and promote awareness to end the violence against all Indigenous women and relatives. Please share.
