Nate Kettle, son of Carl and Leslie Kettle, Received the 2023 Russell Sage College Rookie of the Year award and earned a place on the Empire 8 Second Team All-Conference for lacrosse, while maintaining an excellent academic reputation pursuing his degree in Criminal Justice and Behavioral Health.
In a remarkable achievement, Nate Kettle of Kill Buck, New York, a rising star in the lacrosse world, has been awarded the coveted Rookie of the Year title. Nate made an indelible mark on the lacrosse field throughout the season in his Freshman year at Russell Sage College in Albany, NY, showcasing exceptional skill, dedication, and leadership. As a rookie, he surpassed expectations and quickly established himself as a key player at Sage. With an impressive display of athleticism, Nate consistently delivered outstanding performances, contributing significantly to the team. He was also named a Gator of the week during the season. He racked up 32 goals, 45 points, 31 ground balls and 13 assists. Additionally he earned his place as an Empire 8 Second Team All-Conference Performer, placing him among the top lacrosse players in the conference, showcasing his talent, skill, and dedication to the sport. Being selected for this prestigious award demonstrates Nate’s consistent performance and ability to compete at a high level against formidable opponents.
Beyond Nate Kettle’s remarkable achievements on the lacrosse field, he has managed to maintain an outstanding academic reputation.
