Seneca-Iroquois National Museum Board of Trustees Hosts Annual Meeting

Submitted by Mary Jacobs

On Saturday, May 13, 2023 the SINM Board of Trustees held their annual meeting at the Ganondagan State Historical site in Victor, New York.

The museum currently has eleven members representing the Allegany and Cattaraugus territories.

It was a full day of planning and review of the our nation museum and culture center.

Plans were formed and goals were established for new projects to be completed in one year, three years, and five years.

The board appreciates the staff, as they continue to be knowledge keepers of the Seneca traditions and culture.

Special thanks go out to NYSCA (New York State Council on the Arts) and MANY (Museum Association of New York) for their funding support.

The SINM Board encourages everyone to visit the museum and watch for updates on upcoming events.
