Last month, Seneca Solar was honored to participate in the groundbreaking 1st Annual Tribal Energy Equity Summit presented by the Indigenous Energy Initiative. The summit was held on the Ojibwe & Dakota Territory in St. Paul, Minnesota
Thanks to Chéri Smith for organizing this historic gathering and for inviting us! Seneca Solar Director of Business Development Erin Dayl and Seneca Holdings Board Member Wendy N. Huff were inspired by this tremendous opportunity to learn from tribal and federal leaders and discuss how we can achieve equitable energy solutions.
The gathering brought together leaders from Tribal and Federal government to catalyze more meaningful and effective dialogue about clean energy siting, interconnection, and other critical considerations affecting a just transition. This is the kind of collaboration we need to achieve our common goals.
