Congratulations to the Lake Shore Unified Eagles who won their bracket with a victory over Fredonia in the championship finals on June 2, 2023, 42-38, at Lancaster high school. Coach Blasz, Coach Coyle and Coach Bartolotti are very proud of you all. At the time of this win, that made 3 Section 6 Championship teams in 3 days for Lake Shore! Ja:göh!

Gao:wisa:s (Lena) Stevens Earns Taste of Buffalo Scholarship

Erie 2-Chautauqua-Cattaraugus BOCES Ja:göh to Culinary Arts student Gao:wisa:s (Lena) Stevens (Onödowa’ga:’ from Cattaraugus Territory of the Beaver clan) of Gowanda Central School District, who recently earned one of five $1,000 Taste of Buffalo Scholarships. Lena is interning at Olympia in Gowanda and plans to attend the Niagara Culinary Institute in the fall.
