Ja:göh Jakob Patterson, who was recently featured in the “Pathway To Law 2023 Cohort Spotlight”. Jakob holds a B.A. Summa Cum Laude in Sociology with a minor in Criminal Justice from the University at Albany, SUNY. During college, Jakob was a key player on the Men’s Division 1 lacrosse team and won several awards in academics and athletics, including the USILA Scholar All-American and Offensive Player of the Year in 2019. Jakob is an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation, a part of the Iroquois Confederacy, and takes a particular interest in Indian law. Jakob is looking forward to playing in the World Games 2023 for the Haudenosaunee Nationals to be held in San Diego and plans to pursue law school in 2024. #CaliforniaIndianLawAssociation
