Father’s Day Dinner Event w/Mike Crouse

On June 5th, the Allegany Library hosted two local artists, Mike Crouse and Cliff Redeye, III, who gave presentations on their craft and how they got started in their respective mediums. Cliff discussed leatherworking, his process, and what drew him to the art form. Mike explained his background in woodworking. Participants were treated to roast corn soup and refreshments. After their presentations, they made key chains.

On June 13th, they held their Father’s Day dinner w/Michael Crouse event. A small group of Dads came out to enjoy a meal as Mike showed them how to make rattles. Nya:wëh, Mike, for gifting the materials to make rattles to anyone who wanted to make one.

Join the staff on July 7th from Noon-2pm to CELEBRATE 44 YEARS of community service! There will be Weidner’s BBQ and cake by D’s Crafty Cakes.

Best of Buffalo magician award winner, Magician Paul Antonio, will be performing at the ACC on July 11th at 2pm to help kick-off the summer reading program. .
