The Championship Gowanda Central School District Ladies Softball team joined Executives and Councillors from the Seneca Nation at a dinner held in their honor on the evening of Thursday, July 20th to celebrate their successful season as the NYSPHSAA Class C Champions. Councillors Tina Abrams and Marta Kettle presented the ladies with customized gift bags prepared by the Treasurer’s Office. Seneca Nation President Rickey Armstrong, Sr. was on hand to lend a welcome and congratulatory message to the athletes and their families. Coaches Maloney and Capozzi were presented with special plaques from their team in honor of the championship season. Ja:göh!
