North American Indigenous Games 2023

Submitted by Mary Jacobs

Congratulations to those who competed at the 2023 North American Indigenous Games! We are proud of you for traveling to compete against the top Indigenous athletes on Turtle Island. Let yourself feel the pride. The week was amazing! Our team experienced the thrill of victory, the agony of defeat, but beyond that, they joined not only as a team but as the people of Turtle Island. Our teams appreciated the Mi’kmaw hosts who welcomed our team with open arms. Keep playing and doing your best.
