Our days are getting shorter and students are heading back to college for the fall semester. The Seneca Fall Festival is quickly approaching on September 8-10, 2023, at the Saylor building grounds. This year’s theme is Shadisyo:ni:h – They are building it again, in recognition of our Longhouse.
The Cattaraugus Health Center project is progressing very well. The concrete foundation work is completed, and the majority of the framework is installed. Underground conduit work is also completed. More highlights will be shared as things move along.
Another project for the Cattaraugus campus is the building wide safety upgrade. This will include upgrading the door locks and surveillance systems. This will include all buildings around the administration complex.
Council has designated community meetings to review compact negotiation terms. The following dates are established Cattaraugus Territory on August 26th from 6-8 and Allegany Territory on August 29th from 6-8, Erie on August 30th from 6-8pm. The locations will be included on the Nation website.
