Calling ALL Indigenous STEM Professionals

Are you an Indigenous or Native professional working in the STEM field in the northeast? Or are you an Indigenous professional working with STEM students in the northeast? Then we are looking for you!

The Lake Erie Professional Chapter of the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) is looking for new members! Thinking you are not sure what this would entail? Well, benefits of membership include professional development opportunities, community service/engagement, networking, and being able to further advance the involvement of Indigenous People in the STEM field! We meet on a monthly basis and are in contact with each other to share events in the community and other ways to continuously get involved with AISES nationally.

The only requirement is that you are an Indigenous professional in the STEM field (or are an Indigenous professional working with STEM students) and are located in AISES’ Region 6 (New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, northeastern Nunavut, southern Ontario, Prince Edwards Island, Quebec, Connecticut, Indiana, Massachusetts, Maine, Michigan – Lower Peninsula, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont).
