The Iroquois Sachem Challenge is a rigorous six-week summer youth leadership program that exposes candidates to invaluable life skills, such as administering first aid, outdoor survival, archery, horse-back riding, canoeing, hunting, trapping, fishing and tackle techniques, self-defense training, Seneca language; team-building, customer service, leadership, resiliency development, Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math (STEAM) – they learn and develop critical thinking skills as these concepts are interwoven into the program to help shape their outlook on their journey towards being productive young adults…and so much more!

They recently wrapped up the program at Highbanks – an all outdoor environment in which the skills learned in the previous weeks were put to the ultimate test. The program operates daily from 8am – 4:30pm, Monday-Friday, for 6 weeks with recruits age 13 to 16. If your son or daughter is interested in the Class of 2024 please get in touch with Ron Cook, Jr. at 716-532-1587 or via email: iroquoissachemchallenge@gmail.com for more information.
