We had a great Fall Festival weekend. I hope everyone was able to get out and enjoy the events. Congratulations to the float winners, Wheel Strong, TERC, and Education and nya:wëh to the groups that participated in the parade. Nya:wëh to the Fall Festival Committee for your dedication and organization each year.

Work has begun on the Bush Road housing project. It is anticipated that two new homes will be completed by December. As previously mentioned, the Housing task force is creating criteria for the application process.

The new Health Center held the steel topping off ceremony on Friday, September 8th. This signifies the completion of the foundational structure of the project. It’s so exciting to see the progress.

The budget is in the last stage before Council approval. Council is anticipating a cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) and possibly an employee retention policy. Once completed, it will move to Council for approval. The new budget year will begin on October 1, 2023.

Get ready for the Back to School bash hosted by the Seneca Nation Education Department. This kicks off the start of the school year. Have a great school year everyone!!
