AT THE REGULAR SESSION OF COUNCIL OF THE SENECA NATION OF INDIANS HELD ON OCTOBER 14, 2023, AT THE WILLIAM SENECA BUILDING ON THE CATTARAUGUS TERRITORY.

REGULAR COUNCIL DATE CHANGE FOR NOVEMBER 2023
MOTION: by Maurice John, Sr., seconded by J. Conrad Seneca, that the Seneca Nation Council approves the following resolution:
WHEREAS, the Constitution of the Seneca Nation of Indians, Section XII, reads, in part
“The Council of the Nation shall meet, in general session lo conduct the business of the Nation, on the second Saturday of each month in the year; provided, however that if the second Saturday of any month is a legal holiday or if the Council so votes at its next preceding session, the Council shall meet on the third Saturday of the month ” and
WHEREAS, the second Saturday for the month of November (November 11, 2023) is Veterans Day.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Nation’s Council hereby approves to change the November Regular Session of Council from November 11, 2023, to November 18, 2023.
