Seneca Media Short Film Premiered at Red Nation International Film Festival

We are elated to announce that this week, the short film “Our Longhouse” makes its premiere at the esteemed Red Nation International Film Festival! Directed by Maurice John, Jr., and produced by the Seneca Nation of Indians’ Seneca Media & Communications Center and the Seneca-Iroquois National Museum, the documentary-style short film highlights the construction of the “Living Longhouse” project from spring-summer 2022.

The film made its premiere as part of the grand opening of the Living Longhouse & “Carson Waterman: A Retrospective” at the Seneca-Iroquois National Museum Onöhsagwë:de’ Cultural Center and is now on permanent exhibit at the Museum. The film also screened at the Fine Arts Theatre in Beverly Hills, California on November 8.
