2023 White House Tribal Youth Summit

November 14, 2023 Repost from Seeing Red Media Instagram

Meet Haudenosaunee delegate Yanenowi Logan (Seneca Nation) who attended the 2023 White House Tribal Youth Summit in Washington, D.C. This forum continues the vital dialogue initiated by Biden-Harris’s first tribal youth forum in 2021, focusing on key policies and issues impacting Native youth and their communities nationwide.

Indigenous youth delegates who participate in these events are passionate about speaking up for their concerns, offering solutions, and creating a mutually beneficial outcome for Indigenous communities. Native youth and leaders in the Biden-Harris Administration discussed a variety of topics including mental health, climate, boarding schools, Indian Child Welfare, substance prevention, and more. Thank you to the hosts the Center for Native American Youth, United National Indian Tribal Youth Inc, and the White House for providing this incredible opportunity for Indigenous Youth voices to be heard.
