Seneca Nation Demolishes Home Fallen into Disrepair, Violation of Lease

As part of a continued effort and dedication to cleaning up our communities, another building was demolished in the City of Salamanca on the Ohi:yo’ Territory today. 73 Jefferson Street had fallen into a perpetual state of disrepair, a direct violation of the signed lease, and was marked for removal.

“We’re not stopping here. Renewing our neighborhoods remains a priority for my Administration. We’re letting those who wish to conduct illegal activities on our territory or allow properties to fall into disrepair know that those days are over”, said President Rickey Armstrong, Sr.

Nya:wëh to all of the internal Seneca Nation agencies involved in the process, including the Seneca Nation Council and our Department of Public Works.
