The family of Lee Jimerson Jr. would like to acknowledge the many people who helped out on his journey:
Charlie Scanlan, Ron Warrior, Nick Swantak and Phillip White found him and assisted in keeping him comfortable, and talking with him. They stayed until EMS arrived and directed traffic.
Norman Jimerson for helping with arrangements and getting the helpers. Lorretta Stevens, Nadine Pierce, and Cheryl Pierce for serving of the meals and the many others that assisted them.
Glen Lay and Jordan cook for sitting with Lee overnight.
The Faithkeepers that helped with the arrangements and allowing us to use the Longhouse.
To the singers, to hear you sing for him was very emotional and had an affect on all of us.
The language program and the Sully Center employees for opening up the building for the luncheon and the feast. He considered this his second family.
Marty Jimerson for helping to hook-up the air conditioning and keeping garbage picked up and cleaned.
To the Paul Bearers and gravediggers, your help was appreciated.
To all the people that sent food, cards and monetary donations, it was so much appreciated. Also, to all the businesses – Wolf’s Run, Capozzi’s, Herons and Big Indian. A special thanks to Chrissy Schindler for her generous donation.
To the Newton Men’s Lacrosse Team for presenting his lacrosse stick back to him. This was an unexpected and kind gesture, that was also very emotional. Those who knew Lee and the story behind it know how meaningful it was for him to be reunited with his stick. To the anonymous person who returned the stick back to him, your kind gesture will never be forgotten.
And lastly, to Jessica. A very special lady in his life. She showed him what true love was. She stuck with him through good times and bad times. We will always be grateful for you coming into his life and being apart of ours.
I apologize if I forgot anyone. It was a blur and still is. Much love and appreciation to all that did help in anyway.
The family of Lee,
Nevaeh, Debra, Lillanna, Karen, Amanda, James and Linda.
