On Saturday, December 2nd many of us enjoyed painting a Christmas picture as part of our Advent celebration. Sandy Rodgers Warrior guided us through the session. After we finished painting, we enjoyed a potluck luncheon.

Advent began on Sunday, December 3, 2023, which is the season in the Christian calendar that marks the time when we prepare ourselves for the birth of Jesus. The four Sundays in Advent are celebrated with the lighting of the candles of the Advent wreath. The first candle that we lit represented Hope. Each Sunday a candle is lit which represents peace, joy and love. Advent concludes with Christmas which celebrates the birth of Jesus.

Please note: The Seneca Hymn Singers are cancelling their rehearsals for the months of December, January and February.

On Sunday, December 17th we will celebrate Christmas at 9am. Following the service, we will enjoy a potluck brunch in our fellowship hall. Please join us for this special service.

Continue to pray for healing in our communities. Pray for those battling addictions. Pray for those who are mourning. Pray for those who are struggling with illness. But also, give thanks for all the blessings that we have in our lives.

On Sunday mornings you are invited to join us for worship service beginning at 9am. After the service we have coffee time and refreshments. We look forward to seeing you and your family. Peace.
